Another chapter begins

For the last few days I have been working on putting this blog together. It's been a new venture for me and I'm learning more about computers than I ever thought I would. It's exciting. I love to learn new things. I'm very much looking forward to sharing with you more about the PowerSessions that are held every first Saturday of each month.

For those who have attended the PowerSessions this forum is for you to feel free to continue the dialogue from previous PowerSessions and to connect with others and meet new friends as well as share your own insight. For the ones who have not had a chance to come and share in the PowerSession, this forum is for you to have access to the information we have been blessed to receive that has been life changing for so many.

By the way my name is Jessie Laine Powell the founder of PowerSessions. I am also a professional gospel singer, motivational speaker, mom to Ameka and wife to Art. I look for to our conversations. In the coming days I will be sharing with you the journey God has us on with the PowerSessions and why they are so Powerful. I will also share with you the things that have been going on lately with in recent sessions. Good night for now.

I hope everyone is having a productive, glorious day! I've got some great new. I'm preparing for my first marathon in Lexington KY's July 4th race. The course is 6.2 miles.

On Tuesday of this week. I finally was able to run almost the whole course. As I was running and approaching the long stretch on Richmond Rd, I was telling myself and hearing God say, You can do this, don't think about how far you have to go to finish the race just focus on where you are at this moment and pace your way through.

When God imparted this to me I immediately started relaxing and began to take my time and not try to rush through. Though I was filling alittle discomfort and my body was tried I knew I had extra resources on the inside of my I had not even tapped and I began too.

I'm saying all this to say, Press through when confronted with obstacles. All you need is on the inside of you waiting for you to access it.

Talk with you soon! Jessie
